How remote estimating works
Plans travel digitally. Cost conditions remain local.
The drawing set, specifications, bid instructions, scope, schedule, and project ZIP code create the starting point. Local information supplied by the client strengthens the pricing basis.
- Labor market, wage requirements, and expected productivity
- Material availability, freight, taxes, and supplier conditions
- Climate, access, phasing, and project logistics
- Relevant code or owner requirements shown in the documents
- Client labor rates, vendor quotes, and preferred suppliers
- Pricing date, escalation period, and bid deadline
